The difference is in the build.
The two editions invert the colours, but they share the details that make them a pair. We used a heavier fabric over the shoulders, edged that area with piping and finished the front with an embroidered logo. The sleeves has its own design detail too, giving the jersey something distinctive when you see it up close.

The brief
JFT Esports wanted jerseys that felt different. The design was developed as day and night editions: two contrasting looks that still belonged to one team.
Inverting the colours established the relationship between them. The next part of the project was to carry that identity into the jersey itself, with fabric and finishing choices that could be seen up close.
Built into the jersey
A heavier fabric was used across the shoulders, with piping outlining that area. This gives the shoulder construction a defined place in the design, rather than relying on the printed artwork alone.
An embroidered logo finishes the front. The sleeves have their own design detail too. Together, those choices carry the character of the day and night editions through the fabric, edges and branding.
Two editions, one team
The finished designs pair inverted colours with the same considered construction details. They can be read as day and night at a glance, while the shoulder fabric, piping and embroidered branding give them more to look at in person.
The photographs below show the editions together and the details that connect them, from the contrasting shoulder area to the front crest.
