Buxton Real Estate

Right down to the ring.

Buxton Real Estate wanted 400 more of a keychain it had used before, to share across its franchises. We kept the familiar format and paid attention to the two places the brand appears.

The branding goes beyond the leather.

The double-sided leather piece carries a pressed Buxton mark. Even the zinc ring is engraved with the name, a detail that’s easy to miss in a photo but clear when you have the keychain in hand. Each one measures 7 × 3 cm and weighs 12 grams.

Buxton Key Chain

The brief

Buxton wanted another 400 of a keychain it had used before. This was a repeat product for its franchises, so the job was to keep the familiar format and carry the brand through the details.

A keychain is a small item. Its size leaves little room for branding, and both the leather piece and the ring are handled every time the keys are used. Those two surfaces were the focus of the finished product.

The approach

The double-sided leather piece gives the keychain its main branded surface. The Buxton mark is pressed into the leather, making it part of the material rather than a separate label.

The metal hardware carries the name too. Engraving the zinc ring keeps the branding present on the part that connects directly to the keys. The two treatments use different materials, but belong to the same finished piece.

The finished run

The run comprised 400 keychains for distribution across Buxton’s franchises. Each piece keeps a compact 7 × 3 cm format and a 12-gram weight.

The result is a familiar item with two distinct branding details: a pressed mark on the leather and an engraved name on the ring. Neither needs a large print area to carry the business’s identity.
